Job Title:  SCM / Build Release Engineer

Location:   Atlanta, GA or Seattle, WA

Duration:  1+ Year

 

Software Configuration Management/Build Release Engineer (skype hire)

 

6+ years of Software Configuration Management / Build Release experience using one or more source control tools like Perforce, Subversion and CVS

Must have strong Continuous Integration skills with tools like ANT, MAVEN, Hudson, and Cruise Control.

- Perform code builds and deployments to development environments

- Assist with coordinating the use of various development environments by multiple development teams

- Promote code in source control and work with developers to resolve overlaps

- Assist production support teams with deployment steps for releases

- Troubleshoot issues in development environments

- Transition work between offshore and onshore resources (may require occasional late evening meetings)

Document build-out procedures and handoff of new platforms to QA and production support teams
