Requirement:

TEAM DESCRIPTION:
Engagement Planning (EP) Team leverages portfolio, program and project management best practices for all Infrastructure Design & Engineering Services (IDES) engagements to assure predictive maintenance/performance savings, reducing investment, and strategic alignment of service capabilities. The EP Team focuses on ensuring the right resources (skill sets) are applied to each given situation to support delivery of a high quality output, while maintaining and measuring delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review inbound requests for IDES Services and conduct weekly resource meetings to determine project staffing levels. • Review project and issue escalation, working with IDES personnel and customers on resolution. • Coach, mentor, motivate, train and supervise IDES project team members on IDES processes and procedures. • Design and develop Engagement Planning Operations (processes, policies, etc.) to ensure that success is routine. • Develop metrics that support effectiveness of IDES Engagement Planning and display overall organizational output and performance. • Design, develop, and implement a weekly status report on all IDES Organizational level operations. • Manage and interact with all PMO inputs/outputs. • Manage IDES Clarity budget and conduct all forecast and demand functions. Also, provide weekly budget charts. • Direct and manage Engagement Planning activities from inception to completion. • Define project scope, goals and deliverables to support each engagement. • Effectively communicate project expectations to IDES Service members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. • Work with EITS Estimate Committee to standardize IDES estimates, document artifacts, and signoffs. • Draft and submit project proposals to IDES Leadership team for approval. • Negotiate with customers regarding project scope, deliverables, estimates, and resources. • Manage IDES project deliverables: Infrastructure Design (ID) and Infrastructure Engineering Guide (IEG) artifacts. • Coordinate with customer on IDES and SEP deliverables. • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts between IDES Services area and customer; maintaining all appropriate documentation. • Responsible for design, development, and ongoing maintenance of IDES SharePoint sites. • Lead/manage all aspects of the Engagement Planning Team. • Support IDES Architecture areas in risk escalation, mitigation, and resolution. • Manage Internal and External strategic initiatives by formulating project plans and deliverables in support of PMO Processes.

Job Description:

 

• 10+ years in Data Modeling role proficient with entity relation diagrams, logical/physical data models creation, review, analysis and issue resolution

 • 10 + years experience working with data models using Erwin desirable

• Work independently and with Business Analysts and SMEs to gather, document and explain requirements

• Ability to apply modeling standards to logical and physical ERDs

• Ability to work with the Development team.

• Experience with data mapping (ETL data mapping with defined technical and business rules. Complex logic, not only 1:1 data mapping)

• Experience with data modeling concepts (conceptual/logical/physical/semantic, multi-dimensional models(star, snowflake), normalized/de normalized models)

• Experience with understanding data - profile and analysis (metadata(formats, definitions, valid values, boundaries), relationship/usage)

 • Experience with data warehousing.

• Experience driving data design and end to end processing

• Experience with moderate SQL scripts (creating, reading, running, customizing)

• Work independently with minor oversight

• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary Life insurance experience is a must.
