Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: 10 Months Contract
Retails experience is must. Atleast 2-3 yrs of retail exp.
Need GC or Citizen or EAD-GC.
Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst - Documentation & Work Flow Expert to work in a matrixed environment on, but not limited to, medium to large scale projects relating to Corporate Services such as: Workplace Services, Real Estate, Legal, and Property Development. An important aspect to the role is effective business communication skills and possession of strong Business Analysis skills to produce high quality document deliverables for the projects. The BA shall have the ability to be self-directive with minimal guidance/direction from their Manager.
Preferred BA should not be too technical, but very seasoned in engaging stake holders, business users, and driving consensus with other IT professionals tied to the project. Evidence of creating BRDs, FRDs, mapping workflow and creating diagrams a must. Must be seasoned and tenures.
· Analyzes complex cross functional business processes and defines integrated requirements.
· Facilitates the design of integrated solutions (process, technical & organizational).
· Ensures the end to end solution is proven to deliver the required business results.
· Drives adoption of the designed processes and solution use with stakeholders.
· Communicates to ensure expectations are kept in line with project status.
· Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements. Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to Global Production Support.
· Able to become functional expert in applications.
· Lead Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and 3rd Parties as needed on projects.
· Chooses analysis techniques and standards to be used within small projects.
· Decides on best functional designs to meet business requirements.
· Follows the Solution Delivery Process.
· May coach/peer mentor BA I and II.
Creates/revises/executes the following deliverables using industry standard techniques as applicable, including but not limited to:
· Business Analysis Planning
· Process Maps
· Data Flow Diagrams
· Business Process Models
· Requirements Specifications
· Use Case Scenarios
· User Acceptance Testing
· Data Flow Diagrams
· Data Dictionaries
· Data Modeling or Data Use Cases
· Data Analysis
Responsibilities:
· 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
· Analytical thinking and Problem Solving, Business Knowledge including Industry and specific knowledge, Listening and Communication skills.
· Knowledge of IT Software lifecycle process, understanding of IT Project methodology and working in matrix environment.
· CBAP/CCAB certification a plus
· Relevant business experience across multiple projects in at least 3 full project life cycles, including one complex project. Can clearly demonstrate delivering artifacts for each project phase, and link the business value created with the process improvement.
· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or Finance.
