Description

Consultant position in the Services group at Client  plays an active role in planning and implementing a web service infrastructure to support next generation products. Client is making a transition to Internet delivered video and content featuring cloud based services and highly interactive HTML5 and native UI's across a variety of consumer electronics devices and set top boxes.

Education/Experience

 

•       7+ years of experience demonstrating an in-depth capability as a software engineer

 

•       B.S. in Computer Science or related field

 

Qualifications

 

·         Demonstrate a thorough understanding of software engineering and object oriented design principles

·         Strong and current development experience in Java and web technologies

·         Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects

·         Implement software proposals, estimate scope of work, create project documentation

·         Familiarity with dependency management and build systems like Maven and Ant.

·         Experience working with open source software such as Spring, Google Guice, Guava, Tomcat, and NoSQL solutions

 

•       Hands on approach a must

 

·         Agile experience a plus

·         Experience with AWS, micro services, and Netflix OSS tools is a plus

Position: Data Analyst - Credit Risk (GC and Citizens only)
Location: Long Island City, NY
Note: visa copy and Id proof is required for the submission

Responsibilities:
·         Perform data analytics pre-build and post-launch for all tests
·         Collects and documents business requirements and feed specifications
·         Supports and co-ordinates UAT, defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients
·        Participates in the creation of supporting documentation
·        Supports obtaining sign-off of business requirements
·        Liaises with programme / project managers, clients, functional analysts and developers as appropriate to ensure solution design and implementation is in line with the business requirements
·        Supports creation of business cases outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
·        Supports the preparation of feasibility studies and estimates
·        Performs data analysis to support  tasks as required

Essential skills
·        Experience with US regulatory, e.g. CCAR, US Basel III, etc.
·        Experience with Credit Risk or Market Risk environments
·        Familiar with BCBS 239 / Data Analytics
·        Advanced expertise with spreadsheets
·        5+ Years experience in Business Analysis and Financial Services
·        Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
·        Excellent communication skills
·        Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
·        Knowledge in MS Office products
