Duration: 6 months

System Analyst, Analysis, Tech Documentation, SOA, Web Applications

Job Description:

Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
Applications/technology knowledge and expertise in SOA (service oriented architecture / web services) and web applications.
Solid understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, testing, problem resolution and planning.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with business and systems personnel in a team environment.
Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and new technologies.
Experience using Visio, Rational Team Concert (RTC) or similar a plus.
Working knowledge of SQL and XML.

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Req Details:

Strong Business system analyst with at least 9- 12 years of experience, specializing in utilities domain 

-          Very good knowledge of utilities billing process, should be able to work as an SME for billing- MUST

-          Should have worked on at least 1 to 2 large IT projects related to utilities billing- MUST

-          Previous experience in redesigning utilities bill will be a plus

-          Experience in utilities companies like SCE & PGE preferred.

-          Experience working directly with end-client management on both the IT and business side.

-          Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

-          Ability to assume significant responsibility and work independently in a distributed cross-functional team environment

Minimum Requirements
Below are the technologies they should have worked with

10 years Core Java
Spring
Web services – Restful
Java Messaging Service – Tibco EMS
XML parsing
Also

Multi-threading (i.e., experience with Java's concurrency libraries)

Basic DB/SQL skills
It is good if they are familiar with
Continuous Integration

Maven
