| Detailed JD | The candidate will be required to: - Serves as the senior technical resource on these projects including providing direction to junior staff and reporting progress and status to project leads, Oversee all design and implementations of feeds, data structures, reports, etc. including analysis and documentation of existing feeds
- Work with business analysts to understand business and functional requirements and translate into technical design specifications
- Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure structured and effective implementations
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to junior development resources on .Net development, SQL databases, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation for assigned projects
- Experience interfacing with web services
- Ability to work with multicultural teams and geographically dispersed teams in multiple time zones
- Relevant software skills, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and Visio.
- Strong verbal/written communications skills and problem solving abilities
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Candidate must have a minimum of 6+ years of experience as a senior developer in a corporate environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with the Microsoft application development platform (.Net 4.0 Framework or above)
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
- Minimum 5 years experience using a formal Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
